Belgian artist Ben Heine has come up with a whole new concept of photography and illustration by merging the two in his series “Pencil Vs Camera”. It’s a pretty interesting concept as he takes a photograph and then adds a whole new element of fantasy to it by layering interesting illustrations on them based on the scene. Ben says that the idea came to him while watching television and writing a letter at the same time.
Reading my letter before putting it in the envelope, I saw in transparency the television behind the paper. I then realized it would be great to make something similar in a single image showing 2 different actions.
